ABOUT US

Granary Cottages are three delightful holiday lets located in the heart of the Sussex countryside within sight of the Southdowns, near to the village of Chiddingly (home of the famous Chiddingly Festival).


All three cottages are contained within the original old granary building on Holdens Farm. Built to exacting standards, each cottage retains the original charm of the old granary, yet is fitted with quality modern fittings throughout.


Barley Cottage, the largest of the three, with two en-suite bedrooms comfortably sleeps four. Wheat Cottage has one bedroom ideal for two people. Oat cottage comfortably sleeps three to four adults.  All cottages are now available for bookings.


We aim to make your stay in one of our splendid, fully self-contained, cottages as comfortable as possible, offering you a home from home experience.

BARLEY COTTAGE

Sleeps 4 Adults
1 Double & 1 Twin both with en suite.

 We stayed in Oat Cottage and it was lovely. Spotlessly clean on our arrival and the kitchen had all the mod cons we needed, 2 bathrooms - 1 with a bath and the other with a separate shower. Underfloor heating was amazing and the cottage was warm and cosy. Katie and Mike the owners were both very friendly and we had a few chats with them whilst we were staying there. Although the cottage had a washing machine, Katie insisted on washing and replacing the bedding for us during our stay.

Would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a few days of peace and quiet. If we ever have any family visiting who want somewhere to stay I would not hesitate in recommending this place.
